The SCC women won their first game of the season against John Wood CC by a final of 6-2.  The Cougars started out slow, falling behind 0-2 in the first half, but surged back in the second half with six un answered goals.  SCC held John Wood scoreless in the second half with the defense stepping up and making big plays to help the offense create opportunities.

SCC will be back in action this weekend to take on Iowa Lakes CC on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00am and Allen County CC on Sunday, August 25th at 11:00am.  Both games will be home at the SCC soccer field.
