The 2024-25 Cougars are ready for fall.  This year's team will begin their fall srimmages on September 14 at home with the JUCO Showcase right here at SCC.  They will be tested like no other team in program history, with a fury of fall games with some big time opponents. 

This year will take on four DI programs (Murray State, SEMO, Lindenwood and SLU), the most they have played in Coach Wengert's tenure. "I think it speaks volumes on the growth of the program.  I believe 4-year coaches are seeing what we are putting toghether and they want to see if we have anything they might need or want.  I think the girls are excitied and want the competition, " commented Wengert.  

This year's group as the most balance of returners and newcomers it has seen in a long time.  SCC is hopeful witht he balance they can make it a fall to remember.  "It is not about the scoreboard in the fall.  It is about growth and seeing what we need to improve on moving forward," spoke Wengert.  The Cougars will get tested and pushed if nothign else.  Come out and support the squad on September 14th and October 19th at home.
