The 2021 Softball season came to an end on Saturday, May 1 as the Cougars dropped both games to Jefferson College in the Sub-Regional contest. The women finished their season with a record of 24-26. This is the first 20+ win season St. Charles Softball has had since 2012 (28-24) and a major improvement from the previous (full) season in 2019 where the Cougars finished 2-36. 

To cap off the great success the Cougars had in the 2021 season, there were 6 athletes that were recognized for their season performance. Four of the six being freshman who plan to come back next season. Congratulations to all the athletes who received awards.

Freshman, Hunter Collins - 2nd Team All-Region & Honorable Mention All-Conference (.381 Batting Average, 11 Doubles, 7 Home Runs)

Freshman, Emma Becker - 2nd Team All-Region & Honorable Mention All-Conference (.346 Batting Average, 10 Home Runs, 8 Triples, 38 RBI)

Freshman, Abbey Hultz - Honorable Mention All-Conference (.311 Batting Average, 90.1 Innings Pitched, 103 Strike Outs)

Sophomore, Liz Davis - 2nd Team All-Region (.366 Batting Average, 33 RBI, 11 Doubles, 7 Home Runs)

Sophomore, Maggie Dooley - 1st Team All-Conference & 2nd Team All-Region (.353 Batting Average, 34 Stolen Bases, 46 Runs Scored)
