The SCC Men's and Women's team defeated their quarterfinal opponent to advance to the Region XVI semi final match.  The women defeated East Central College by a final of 2-0.  The goals were scored by Mackenzie Deuser on a penalty kick in the 25th minute and Amerie Henke scored in the 35th minute from an assist by Leah Maxvill.  The women will take on No. 1 seed, Mineral Area College at 2:00pm this Wednesday for a chance to compete in the Region XVI finals.

The men defeated St. Fair Community College by a final of 1-0.  The goal was scored by Jardell Conteh in the 89th minute by an assist from Jermaine Mentoor.  The Cougars have advanced to the semi final match to take on No. 1 seed, East Central College.  The game will be played at 2:00pm on Tuesday at East Central College.
