The SCC Men's Soccer team took down St. Louis Community College in the Region XVI Championship game by a final score of 1-0.  The Cougars won in OT after a 0-0 score in regulation.  The Cougars immediately put the pressure on to start OT and won in dramatic fashion by scoring the lone goal 7 minutes into the first overtime.

The Cougars have made SCC history becoming the first men's soccer team to win a region title!

SCC will continue to make program history as they advance to their first ever district match to take on Heartland Community College.  The winner of the district match will get an automatic bid to the National Tournament hosted in Wichita, KS. 

They will be playing this Sunday, May 23rd at 4:30pm.  The game will be hosted by Heartland Community College and will be played in Normal, IL at "The Corn Crib" facility.
