The 2020 Spring Season is nearly upon us and the SCCougs have released their 2020 spring schedule!

The SCC baseball program will play some tough competition early in the 2020 schedule to prepare for the Region XVI schedule:

The Cougars open up the 2020 slate with 6 non-conference games against Region XII opponents Cleveland St. CC and Volunteer St. CC.  Cleveland St. CC will be the 1st bout in the Cougars coaching staff reunion tour as assistant coach Ryne Foster spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons there as the hitting coach! The Cougars will play four games against Cleveland St. CC starting on Friday, February 21st.  

Next up, the weekend of 2/28-3/1, the Cougars are set to play a trio of teams from arguably one of the best Regions (Region XXIV) in all of NJCAA baseball.  The Cougars will take on Frontier CC for a DH on 3/28, then take on Perennial Wabash Valley College (Finished 2019 ranked #1 Overall) and battle Kaskaskia CC before returning home.  This will be the 2nd stop of the SCC baseball coaching staff's reunion tour as Head Coach Jeff Bolen spent the 2017 and 2018 season there as WVC's pitching coach.

Region XXVI Opening Weekend - 3/5-3/7.

Home Opener - 3/14 against St. Louis CC.

TR Hughes Ballpark Education Day - 4/28 - Against Kaskaskia CC.

Region XVI Sub Regional Playooffs - 5/1-5/3

Region XVI Playoffs - 5/7-5/9

South Central District Championship - 5/14-5/16

NJCAA Division 1 World Series - 5/23-6/1
