Mize and Kubik Receive 2nd Team All-Conference Honors

Congratulations to Carter Mize and Alec Kubik for receiving 2nd Team All-Conference honors.  Mize finished his sophomore season with 7 home runs, 39 RBIs, 24 Runs and 7 stolen bases.  He also had a batting average of .281 an on base percentage of .338 and a slugging percentage of .516.  Carter will be attending Missouri Baptist next Fall to continue his academic and athletic career.

Alec Kubik transferred to St. Charles Community College from the University of Incarnate Word in Texas to compete for the Cougars.  Alec had a great year as a pitcher appearing in 20 games and had an overall record of 5-6.  Kubik mainly served as the top reliever for the Cougars but also started 8 games.  Alec pitched 57 inning and had 40 strikeouts with a 3.92 ERA.  Kubik has will be attending Western Kentucky University in the Fall and will continue his academic and athletic career.
