Mandy Watson is currently in her second year as an athletic training fellow with Athleticare Sports Health Foundation. Mandy is the Head Athletic Trainer at Incarnate Word Academy and is currently pursuing her Doctorate degree in Health and Human Performance from Concordia University Chicago. Mandy received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and minored in Biology and Leadership from Southwestern College in Winfield, KS. Mandy stayed on as a Graduate Assistant at Southwestern College for the next two years while receiving her Master’s in Business Administration. During her time as a graduate assistant, she had the opportunity to work with men’s soccer, basketball, cross country, track & field, volleyball, and softball. Mandy was given the opportunity to become a preceptor for the Athletic Training Education Program and teach a couple classes. Through this experience, she learned she had a passion for teaching. This led her to Athleticare Sports Health Foundation. Athleticare has given Mandy the opportunity to continue developing her skills as an athletic trainer while earning a degree that will allow her to educate future athletic trainers.

In her spare time, Mandy loves playing slow pitch, baking, reading, and taking her dog Ellie for walks.
