The Cougars had a great regional tournament race on October 29th! The Cougars fought hard against Mineral area College. The conditions were wet and rainy but despite that we had some athletes run their second best time for the 8k this season, Ryan Pendergast (30:50), Devon Fanning (32:12) , Parker Kilen (33:16) , Sean Scott (31:41).  On the women's side Grace Bostic ran extremely well in the 5k with a time of 26:38.  The Cougars held their own against the No. 1 ranked team in the nation and have secured a spot in the National Tournament in Milledgeville, GA.  SCC is looking forward to the national meet which will be held on November 13th.  The Cougars have qualified for the national tournament three years in a row!

During the regional men's race, Jonah McHaffie ran his personal best with a time of 27:36 which put him in a second place finish.

SCC has gained momentum into the national tournament and we can't wait to get to Georgia!
