The SCC Lady Cougars picked up two big wins this week.

The Cougars scored early and often in a 5-0 win over East Central on Wednesday.  The goals came from Dariyn Hoff, Elin Nilsson, Maria Fernandes, Rebekah Floyd, and Emma Anselm.  Madison Wilk preserved the shutout between the pipes.  SCC is now 3-1-0 in Region play.

On Sunday, SCC continued their shutout win streak with a tough 1-0 upset win over national power Lewis and Clark CC.  This was the 4th win in a row for SCC to move their record to 9-2-0.  Maria Fernandes scored the lone goal on a beautiful free kick strike.  Emily Engelhardt stopped 10 shots on goal and picked up the shutout.
